Tech Review: Canon EOS M3 Mirrorless Camera

I love to travel. Exploring new cities, immersing yourself in different cultures, meeting new people, and in turn bring home countless photos to share and perhaps brag about to our friends. And with the advent of smartphones, taking and sharing photos has never been as easy. But for some, camera in a smartphone just wouldn’t cut it. The details and colors seemed washed out, taking exceptional images at night is next to impossible, and last, creativity always seems to be sacrificed. You can opt for a DSLR camera to satisfy that artist in you, but I have a better alternative.

In comes Canon EOS M3 mirrorless camera – available at Cam4Sell. This is one of the new breed of digital cameras that offers creative power at a lighter and portable size. It has the same size as your typical compact digicams but gives you performance similar to a DSLR camera, if not better. 24.2 megapixel CMOS sensor gives you that detail in every shot and with ISO of upto 12,800 (expandable upto 25,600), taking photos at night is just a breeze. There’s a lot more things this camera can offer but let me tell you what I like most about it:

  • Interchangeable lens. Yes, you may change the lens on this camera depending on your subject and give you much creativity and flexibility in taking photos. You can also use standard Canon DSLR lenses via mount adapter.
  • Touch-screen LCD display. This great especially with the their new feature Creative assist that allows you customize image effects and add special filters in real-time while shooting. It’s like getting Instagram built-in. Plus the display can be flipped upto 180o ideal for people who wants to take selfies.
  • Wireless features. You can easily transfer images and videos from your camera to your computer or smartphone via WIFI and NFC. Another cool feature is that you can used your smartphone to shoot remotely using a downloadable app for iPhone and Android.

Canon M3 and mirrorless cameras in general gives you the freedom to produce great images without carrying a bulk load of gear. It helps you to document all those precious memories yet not being overwhelmed by the device you’re using. If indeed a picture is worth a thousand words, let make every shot counts.

Thank you for your feedback. Reviews are not supposed to convince you to buy a product; advertisements do that. I have provided the details that I like in this camera because I tried it for myself. I am part of a team that tests gadgets before they go to the showroom. Now it’s up to you if you want to buy it based on what you read and have researched about the product.
