A month ago, we were in Elements at the Four Seasons Hotel eating dinner for Ate Jel’s masalamah. While waiting for one of our friends, the concierge suggested we visit a bazaar on going at the nearby Four Seasons ballroom. Of course, being shopaholics that we are, we can’t pass up the chance to see what they were offering. However, they were beginning to close the booths so we hurried along and just managed to see the jewelry booths before they tear the booths down. It was the last night of the bazaar, bummer! But it was a good thing I chanced upon the booth of Ego Makeup. She carries brands that are not easily available in Riyadh. I saw the L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paint immediately and I zeroed in on the lovely color of Seduction as suggested by Ate Jel.
I have always wanted to try the Glazed Lip Paint of L.A. Girl but I couldn’t find it in Riyadh. My want was shadowed by my love for other lipsticks lip glosses then I forgot about L.A. Girl’s Lip Paint for a while. But good thing, I saw them in the bazaar and I can finally try it! The color that I got was gorgeous. It was a vibrant purple that’s attention-grabbing but not loud enough to distract in an outrageous way, haha. The Lip Paint looks like a gloss with some solid color! It’s truly super intense and extra glossy. It glides effortlessly but I suggest use some lip brush for a more precise application. I love the effect of these lip paints so much that I ordered more shades from iKatehouse. Basically, these shades are more wearable every day. I received them after 3 weeks and that’s when I realized that I like LA Girl Glazed only when it’s the darker colors because they really apply opaque and vibrant. The other colors look like a hot mess on the lips haha (sorry Tango and Gleam).
My faves are still Seduce, Blushing, and Tease. They’re show-stoppers (not that I have any show to stop haha).
